Follow @raise_ur_vibration đ When we let go of all of our gigs a little over a week ago, panic, stress, and feelings of hopelessness began to set in. To be real, I was an anxious fucking mess. Between freaking out about my voice, rent, my future, and everything in between, I was a blubbering sobbing mess. I asked the universe to support me, in whatever way possible. Preferably in a modality that didn't require me to use my speaking voice while it heals, and is also fulfilling at the same time. What "job" exists that is as fulfilling as my deepest passion for singing, that is available ASAP, with pure ease, and pays well, isn't exhausting, that I can pick my own hours, etcâŚ? Well I've been in the game long enough to know that the universe can serve up anything we ask for beyond our wildest dreams- no matter how far it out and picky it seems- tho this one seemed pretty far out. ⢠Regardless⌠less than a week later my prayers were answered. ⢠It was the day of the full moon and I just started my moon as well. I had just gotten off of the phone crying to my family. An hour later, a dear brother called and invited us over to his "new friend"s house located at the base of my favorite nearby forest. He wanted us to meet someone, was making a delish vegan dinner (an offer I can't resist) and said to come by for a few hours. We have been avoiding social interaction as we heal our voices, but for some strange reason, this felt right. Even though it was a gloomy day and I was on my moon, we put on our cozy clothes and headed over- divinely guided. ⢠We pulled into the driveway of this beautiful estate, nestled within thousands of Norfolk Pines (my favorite type of tree) of this sacred forest- the property filled with abundant fruit trees, gorgeous landscape and unique Hawaiian flora, fresh air... My energy lifted the moment we stepped foot onto the property (It felt reminiscent of The Celestine Prophecy). Our brother greeted us and introduced us to the two residents- a 70 year old man named Ian, and his "son", 56 year old autistic man (soon to become one of my best friends) named Bahu. ⢠Ian has been Bahu'sâŹď¸
