SALUTE to the Warriors. SALUTE to the press who document the warriors on their path. SALUTE to everyone overcoming injustice on every level. It is because of men like these that I have hope for the world. Repost from @undocumedia Rest in power, #DonHoganCharles! 🙇🏾♂️🙏🏽 "Photographer Don Hogan Charles has died at the age of 79. He is most famous for his photographs of the civil rights movement, including the iconic image of Malcolm X holding a rifle while peering out of the window of his home in Queens, New York. Charles was the first African-American photographer hired by The New York Times. He died earlier this month [Dec. 15th] in East Harlem." via @democracynow
