This is what freedom looks like... and if you believe that, you are not free... and you are dumb. I wonder if some random middle eastern country will save us from ourselves for gassing ourselves.... errrrrr.... awkward. Repost from @xelasoulsay The financial district yesterday in Puerto Rico. The cops indiscriminately gassed thousands. These United States citizens have a right to assembly in a redress of grievances, they have a right to do so in the streets of the financial district if they so choose. After the March of thousands of Puerto Rican's from all walks of life were reaching the financial district they were met with rows of riot cops. Barring them from continuing forward with the planned March. This is where tensions began to escalate. The police escalated the situation and tensions by once again denying Puerto Rican's any say or expression in the governments under which they live. They are denied the right to redress in the United States Congress, they are denied the right to redress in the election of their president, they are denied the right to redress in the handling of the debt, and yesterday were once again denied the right to redress in the streets. #SeAcabaronLasPromesas
